Double Supercar Driving Thrill at Top UK Race Circuits
Dual super car track day at Brands Hatch
This was a Christmas present from my gf and was really excited and slightly nervous about bombing round Brands in some really fast expensive cars!
However the staff were great and the safety briefing put my nerves at rest, and when I got into the cars, the instructors were really friendly and my confidence grew because of this, allowing me to fully enjoy the experience!
3 laps per car though is just not enough :-)

Speed Merchant - Aston or Ferrari?
Which of these two super cars was I going to like the most? Which of them will be the fastest? Which will feel better? Those were my thoughts before the day and afterwards I still don't know - they were both awesome!
The whole experience was well organised, from the booking to the check-in on arrival, to the pre-drive briefing and then the drive itself.
Before the drive, an instructor explains some of the basics around "the racing line" and the car's dynamics when taking a corner so that you have an idea of when to brake, when to turn and when to use the power. This was delivered in an entertaining way and helped to put the more apprehensive drivers at their ease. he also explained what the in-car instructors will do.
We were then taken over to the Silverstone "National Track" in a convoy of our own cars where we were kitted out with helmets and then shown to the real cars where the instructors were already waiting. Having settled into the car, safety checks completed, we were off down the pit lane and onto the track in the Aston Martin Vantage.
The next 3 or so laps were then just the ultimate adrenaline rush. The instructor gave a lot of guidance on the first lap, a little less on the second and then let me go for it on the third.
Then it was back into the pits to swap into the Ferrari 360 and do it all again.
This was just a fantastic 50th birthday present and even though I wasn't able to take either of the cars home (trust me, I did try), I can't wait to do it again.
