This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to drive one of the loudest and fastest vehicles in the world. Learn the importance of, and perform the legendary Dragster burnout, producing essential grip for maximum power. Complete a series of laps in the world famous Grumpy's Dodge or Chevy Vega Pick-up feeding the vehicle more power after every lap, all at your own pace. Your experience may even culminate in a full power pass on the last lap. This Dragster experience will provide you with a day you will never, ever forget.
The experience begins with a briefing and safety talk, during which you must fill out the necessary consent forms. Then you will be kitted out with your racesuit. Next follows your passes in the Drag Racecar, with a debriefing after each lap. You will drive either Grumpy 's Dodge or Chevy Vega Pick-up. The cars drive at up to 130mph, taking 10 seconds to complete the quarter of a mile track. You will be sent a certificate via by post.

This experience is available at Northamptonshire:

  • Northamptonshire (Midlands) - Wellingborough
Your voucher will be valid for ten months for one person. Spectators are welcome, however track entry fees may be applicable. The experience is held on selected dates between March and October. The maximum weight is 18 stone. The maximum height is 6'6". The minimum age is 18 years. If the experience is rained-off your date will be rebooked. Drivers must hold a valid UK or European driving licence.

My wife bought this fantastic Dragster Experience. I go stockcar racing every weekend so she was right to think I'd love this! I had a great time. Driving the Dodge was unbelievable it picks up speed ridiculously quickly! Doing the passes was so much fun really gets the adrenaline flowing.
