When you're nestled behind the wheel of a 4x4, you'll feel like you can face any obstacle. And with the aid of expert instructors, you'd be right - you will forge your way across a terrain filled with natural and man-made hazards in this extended session. Mud filled ruts, slopes and water splashes - you'll face them all without blinking as you drive a fiercely determined 4x4. Off roading has never been so much fun!
On arrival at the venue you will be introduced to the 4x4 and will receive a short safety briefing. Then, with your instructor alongside you, you will be able to try your hand at manouevres such as hill climbing, safe descents and crossing ruts, ditches and mounds. You will be in the vehicle for around 3 hours, and may be sharing the driving with two other participants (At Lincolnshire, you will be sharing with three other participants). You will receive a souvenir certificate on completion of the experience.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. Pre-booking is essential for this experience. Minimum age is 17. You must hold a full UK driving license. Maximum weight is around 18 stone. Minimum height is 5'0", maximum height is 7'0". There will be no more than 2 other participants on this experience with you (at Lincolnshire you will be sharing with three other participants). NB. At the Crewe location the experience will only last 3 hours if there are three participants in the vehicle. This experience may not be available when weather conditions deem it unadvisable; this is for your own safety and to ensure your maximum enjoyment of the experience.

A thoroughly enjoyable day out (went to Crewe venue). The instructor was very amicable and gave very clear instructions and explainations. Very easy to organise, smooth from the moment of first contact to the end of the day. Proper landrover, big knobbly tyres and uncomfortable back seat!! Good value for money, instructor definitely wasn't 'clock watching' he wanted us to get the best experience we could. Would definitely recommend

The extended off road driving experience was fantastic much better than I imagined it could be. The instructor was really friendly and very helpful in ensuring I learnt each skill quickly so that I could really enjoy the driving experience. It was incredibly exhilarating driving up and down the steep inclines and I found it amazing how the vehicle could actually perform in places where I firmly believed we would tip over!! There were 2 other people sharing the experience who were both there to improve their off road driving technique which was great as I learnt a lot from listening and watching them drive. The experience lasted for ages and was definitely well worth it. I would highly recommend this experience and I will be doing it again!

I had a fantastic day on the off roading course but unfortunately my camera battery was faulty and I didn't take a charge. However the day was great well arranged light hearted and very informative but most of all great fun. I can't wait to have another go and hopefully move up to the next level.
