This demanding driving experience requires skill, precision and buckets of nerve as you take on a challenging off road 4x4 course. Test your skills as you negotiate a series of steep drops and climbs with an instructor sat beside you to offer guidance and rate your technique. This fantastic advanced 4x4 off road driving experience takes place on a tough and authentic course, and includes a pub lunch.
Upon arrival you'll start the day with technical information and a safety briefing, followed by a short instructor-driven demo lap where you'll be shown some essential techniques. Then it's straight into the driving seat for practice on mild terrain. You'll soon progress to driving on the more demanding natural terrain course, before putting your new found skills to the test as you negotiate the challenging off road course. Take a break with lunch at a local pub/restaurant. After lunch you will have the chance to practice on some of the most difficult sections of the course, including stall recovery demonstration and practice. Your instructor will be with you throughout, guiding and assessing your skills and progress. At the end of the day you will receive a certificate of achievement. Please note, this experience is shared with 3 other people in the car with you.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. Please have your voucher to hand when you contact the venue to arrange a date for your experience. Minimum age is 17 years old, holding a full driving licence. Max. height is 6ft 6" and min height is 5ft 0". Max weight is 16 stone. Casual clothing and soft soled shoes required. All spectators are welcome. Children under age 11 will be unable to spectate during the experience, but are welcome to use the hospitality suite if supervised by a non-participating adult. Dates are subject to availability.

This was a fun day out with some good learning points, but the emphasis was more on fun. It was nice to meet other people and get thrown about. There was a good energy at the centre and a busy buzz. The courses to drive on were challenging but could be enhanced to include some different terrain as well. The instructor was excellent.

memorable 50th birthday present

I am writing this for my husband as he is a man of few words, but even he was able to expand on his comments about this experience. It was really good ( translated means, brilliant1) He particulary remarked on how chatty and friendly the instructor was, how the group of people he shared the experience developed a good team banter, including them taking the mickey out of him hitting a tree and having to pull out the car wing. His proudest moment was when he climbed a huge slope without stalling, despite the instructor saying perhaps he should'nt attempt this too soon. ( He is very determined and loves a challenged, hence why I knew this was the perfect gift for him). Only critiscm when booking the date for the experience, me and my 5 year old were told we could watch and take photos. On the day was told this was'nt possible due to the nature of the experience. So we have no photos or videos.
