Get ready to glide with this exhilarating drifting experience! You’ll put a stunning drift-prepared Mazda MX5 through its paces as you learn all about this unique and exciting approach to driving. Under the guidance of an expert instructor you’ll learn a variety of drifting techniques including J-turns, handbrake turns and power over steer, before learning how to link drifts. Once you've mastered the basics, it's time to take to the track with an adrenaline-pumping circuit drifting session!
This experience is a great introduction to the exciting world of drifting! Throughout the day you’ll have the chance to put a drift-prepared car – the Mazda MK2 MX-5 1.8S, equipped with roll-over bar and the all-important Torsen limited slip-differential for ease of drifting - through its paces under the guidance of an experienced professional.

Your experience will begin with a theory classroom session covering the principles of car control and safety briefing, before you progress to learning J-turns and handbrake turns. After getting to grips with losing traction you'll master donuts using power oversteer, before learning about linking drifts, incorporating management, correction and recovery of oversteer. You'll also enjoy an exciting circuit drifting session! Your experience will end with a debrief with your instructors.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. This experience usually runs on Sundays - however weekdays are available by arrangement. Minimum age is 17 years. Minimum height is 5ft; maximum height is 6ft 2ins. Maximum weight is 18st. Participants must have a valid UK driving licence, which must be presented on the day (photocopies will not be accepted). Participants must be physically fit and have no health conditions which might affect their ability to drive. You will be required to sign a disclaimer form before your experience. You must wear suitable flat-soled shoes. This experience lasts approximately 4-5 hours with a minimum of 30 minutes driving time. All dates are subject to availability.

Excellent day! Was brought as a present for me for my 18th! Such a fun and amazing day, the guys were so nice and helpful, refreshments were provided and plenty of areas indoor and outdoor to sit for the guests that were watching. A great mornings drifting My wife had bought me a half day drifting experience with the guys at drift limits. Its something that every bloke has tried to do and you can bet your bottom dollar you didn't do it very well. These guys show you how its done before giving you a full tutorial on technique, speed, steering position, power, everything. With drift spec ready mx5's your ready to jump in and get cracking straight away. They take you through the steps on J turns, Handbrake turns and Donuts, before tackling the s bend drift. Id never attempted a J turn before,it didn't take long to get the hang of it. The whole day was a great experience, and you will be drifting in no time, the guys were professional, they made you feel at ease, they made it fun and that's what its all about. With professional pictures and Video available to capture you experience you'l have plenty to remind you of your drifting day. All in all a great days drifting.....Thanks again guys Oh one more thing, i dare you to take a hot lap in the Drift spec BMW M3, the thing is a beast, never taking a car side ways that quick before..... 08 October 2012
