This single-seater track session begins with instructor familirisation laps in a performance car, before your chance to drive the spectacular Formula Ford FF1800 single seater. Experience its dreamlike handling and peerless power.
You will receive a welcome, introduction and briefing on circuit driving techniques; followed by instructor driven familiarisation laps. Then take the wheel for 4 amazing laps driving a Formula Ford FF1800 single-seater racing car. You can expect to be at the venue for up to 2 hours.

This experience is available at Leicestershire:

  • Leicestershire (Midlands) - Prestwold Hall
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. You must pre-book a date for your experience. The course takes place on selected Saturdays between April and October at Prestwold Hall Racing Circuit, Leicestershire. Drivers shorter than 5’0” or taller than 6’6” and/or weighing more than 17 stone may have some difficulty being accommodated. Participants must be 18 or over and must have a full UK driving licence which they have held for at least a year. Spectators are welcome. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage being caused to the car through their negligence. At most locations, you will have the choice of buying a collision damage waiver for an additional charge of approximately £25 per car. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Please ask the operator when booking for further details if required. All dates are subject to availability.

I sent my boyfriend off for this driving experience on his birthday and from his reaction I think I did the right thing! I went along as a spectator on the motor racing day when it came around and he had so much fun in the formula 1 type car - he was literally jumping about with excitement and all the adrenaline afterwards he couldn't keep still! Needless to say while he was still in racing mode I drove home!

My driving experience in the racing car was so amazing! Shooting round the track in the BMW was fun in itself but then came the main event - a real life race car! It was like jumping into an F1 race - loved every second of it!
