A test of your skills as a driver, as well as the capabilities of a modern 4x4, the Off Road Driving Experience is unmissable. All manner of natural and man-made hazards must be overcome on these challenging courses - you'll splash through water and mud, over ruts and up and down steep slopes. With expert instructors on-hand to impart crucial know-how, your skills and confidence will soon improve as you handle these impressive machines.  Prepare to be amazed at what a 4x4 can do.
Exact itineraries vary with location but as a guide your experience will include:
* Safety briefing and an introduction to the principles of 4x4 driving
* Instructor driven laps to show you how it should be done
* Taking to the wheel and put what you have learned into practice
* A de-brief and certificate presentation
* As a guide you can expect to spend around two hours at the venue
* Driving time may be shared with up to three other participants

This experience is available at 5 Locations:

  • Berkshire (South West) - Reading
  • Fife (Scotland) - Knockhill Racing Circuit
  • Gloucestershire (South West) - Coleford
  • Surrey (South East) - Redhill
  • Tyrone (Northern Ireland) - Bally Gawley
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. Height and weight restrictions vary between centres but generally the minimum height is around 5’2” and maximum height is around 7’. Maximum weight is around 18 stone. Some centres require participants to have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 10 months and at some locations they will be required to produce the original licence on the day. Availability varies between centres and some only offer weekday courses. This experience may not be available in bad weather conditions; this is for your own safety and to ensure your maximum enjoyment of the experience. Vehicles and itineraries will vary between locations and images used on this page are only a guide.

The instructors were very thorough and without doubt I feel I am a better 4x4 driver after the mornings instruction. However because I am used to club days where you tend to take a few more challenges after a while it became a little samey. The course was fun but was not that challenging. It did not take away from my experience and I did have a good day.

I loved my off road driving experience! It was a real challenge off roading in the 4x4 especially when it came to the water obstacles and the mud slides! Those vehicles can really take a battering without stopping can't they!

I got this for my 20th birthday and it was certainly different! It was so much fun and really scary at the same time. The instructors were great so helpful and made you feel very comfortable. It was all really relaxed. I would definitely do it again it is well worth the money and is a great adventure.
