With two instructor driven laps in a demonstration car to teach you the racing lines, it's out onto the track for the main event - up to seven miles behind the wheel of this mighty Porsche 997 driving experience! All of this after a briefing and introduction to the circuit, of course.
On arrival at the track you will receive a briefing from a fully qualified ARDS driving instructor. You will then get a chance to learn more about the essentials of high speed supercar driving with three instructor driven familiarisation laps in a demonstration car (not available at North Weald, Blyton Park, Llandow or Scotland locations). After this comes the moment you have been waiting for as you take your place behind the wheel of the Porsche 997 for six miles. At the Prestwold Hall location you will receive four laps (7.2 miles total) of driving. At the end of your day you will also receive an Individual Driving Certificate and Assessment from the qualified instructor.

This experience is available at 6 Locations:

  • Essex (South East) - North Weald
  • Glamorganshire (Wales) - Llandow
  • Grampian (Scotland) - Aberdeenshire
  • Leicestershire (Midlands) - Prestwold Hall
  • Lincolnshire (Midlands) - Blyton Park
  • Lothian (Scotland) - East Fortune
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. Selected dates available throughout the year. Drivers shorter than 5'0” or taller than 6'6” and/or weighing more than 17 stone may have some difficulty being accommodated. Participants must be 18 or over and must have a full UK driving licence which they have held for at least a year. The whole experience lasts approximately one hour. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage being caused to the car through their negligence. At most locations, you will have the choice of buying a collision damage waiver for an additional charge of approximately £25 per car. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Please ask the operator when booking for further details if required.

Point of view: attempt at serious driving. My baseline: the best handing car available today - Lotus Evora (Autocar)
In comparison, the Porsche was fast and much better handling in the wet than expected.
Good and friendly organisation, good instructor.
