Get behind the Porsche 911 Turbo, Porsche 997 or Porsche GT3 for some incredible driving in this enormously entertaining and amazing driving experience, all following instructor-driven familiarisation laps in a saloon car. The handling of this car makes for an unforgettable experience with the wailing rear-mounted flat six engine delivering truly unique but awesome power.
The experience begins with a 10-15 minute briefing. At the Warwickshire, Lancashire and Derbyshire venues you will start with instructor driven familiarisation laps in a saloon car, followed by the Porsche which you will drive for 5-6 miles. At the Oxfordshire and Yorkshire venues you will have two driving sessions in the Porsche GT3, each of four laps. Then there will be a 10 minute debriefing. This experience lasts around 1 hour 45 minutes in total. Long sleeve shirts and long trousers must be worn. Safety equipment will be provided as appropriate (crash helmets, gloves and waterproofs). It is mandatory to wear this equipment.

  • Lancashire (North) - Three Sisters Race Circuit
  • Leicestershire (Midlands) - Bruntingthorpe
  • Leicestershire (Midlands) - Mallory Park
  • Leicestershire (Midlands) - Prestwold Hall
  • Lincolnshire (Midlands) - Blyton Park
  • North Yorkshire (North) - York
  • Northamptonshire (Midlands) - Rockingham
  • Oxfordshire (South West) - Chipping Norton
  • Oxfordshire (South West) - Upper Heyford
  • Surrey (South East) - Longcross
  • Warwickshire (Midlands) - Kenilworth
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. You must pre-book a date for your experience - only available at Heyford Park Thursday - Saturday. At Donington this experience is available Monday - Friday only. Minimum height is 5’0”, maximum height is 6’5” (6'6" at Oxfordshire and Yorkshire). Maximum weight is 18 stone (16 stone at Oxfordshire and Yorkshire). You must have held your full driving licence for one year. At Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Lancashire, Heyford Park and Derbyshire you will drive a 911 Turbo; at Oxfordshire and Yorkshire you will drive a Porsche GT3. At Leicestershire you will drive a 997. Please enquire upon booking about any spectators you may wish to bring. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage being caused to the car through their negligence. At most locations, you will have the choice of buying an optional collision damage waiver for an additional charge of approximately £25 per car. Please ask the operator when booking for further details if required. All dates are subject to availability.

Very well organised event on a private track, excellent instructors and an awesome driving experience in a Porsche GT3. An initial 4 laps followed by a review of the drive then another 4 laps, choice of great photos - just a shame it was raining on the day.

Bit of a let down

Although it was nice to be able to say I've sat behind the wheel of a Porsche, the track I went to (Longcross in Surrey) was a disappointment to be honest, as there was really no opportunity to see what the car could really do. I know they have to be careful and don't want you to wreck the cars, but with the instructor with me controlling every move I made I spent most of my 3 laps averaging around 40mph. Having driven 3 hours from Devon to get there, I had hoped for a little bit more.

Excellent from start to finish. Well done race school.
Easy, swift check in.
Good friendly useful briefing.
Driving Donington was awesome in a 911.
Car was in excellent condition.
Instructor was friendly and gave good timely advice.
The only problem was that it was all over too quickly!
If you've always been too nervous too attempt this, don't be. It's fun!

I had an enjoyable morning but thought it was a bit short for the amount of money it cost especially as the paper work said I would get six laps in a mini cooper which did not happen!!
