Discover the exhilaration of Formula One racing with a spectacular single-seater driving experience. A great chance to follow in the tracks of your motorsports heroes, it will be just you and the car as you tear up the tarmac of a fun and challenging circuit. With expert tuition and a speedy lightweight racecar at your command, this is guaranteed to be the drive of your life.
As a guide your experience will include:

* Safety briefing and an introduction to the principles of single seater driving including racing lines, braking points and general driving techniques.
* Instructor driven laps in a saloon car to demonstrate how it should be done (except at Rockingham and Silverstone)
* This is followed by your big moment! Hands on single seater driving where you can put the tricks you have learnt into practice. The number of laps will vary from location to location, but the approximate driving time will remain the same regardless of venue.
* A de-brief and certificate presentation (certificate not available at Silverstone).
* As a guide you can expect to spend around two hours at the venue.

This experience is available at 8 Locations:

  • County Down (Northern Ireland) - Kircubbin
  • Derbyshire (Midlands) - Donington
  • Fife (Scotland) - Knockhill Racing Circuit
  • Lancashire (North) - Three Sisters Race Circuit
  • Leicestershire (Midlands) - Mallory Park
  • Northamptonshire (Midlands) - Silverstone
  • West Sussex (South East) - Goodwood
  • Wiltshire (South West) - Chippenham
Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. Height and weight restrictions vary but generally the minimum height is around 5'2" and maximum height is around 6'2". For Silverstone, the maximum height is 6'4". Maximum weight is 16-18 stone depending on location. For Silverstone the maximum weight is 18 stone. Maximum age for driving is 70. Participants must have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months and at some locations they will be required to produce the original licence on the day. Availability varies between centres and some only offer weekday courses. Vehicles and itineraries will vary between locations and images used are only a guide. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage being caused to the car through their negligence. At most locations, you will have the choice of buying a collision damage waiver for an additional charge of approximately £25 per car. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Please ask the operator when booking for further details. All dates are subject to availability.

I purchased this racing experience for my husband and it was far better than we could imagine and got alot more for the money than we ever thought would take place on the day!! I think the racing was about 2 hours long including the briefings but we didnt realise how involved the teaching would be from the instrutors themselves it was one on one and this was fantastic, and to top the day off at the end the proffesional racing drivers take you out in the M3 BMW and take you round the track at a very fast pace!! All the friends that came along for the day are wanting to do this as a day out also as it was so good, and I am also going to do it for my next birthday present as my Husband wants me to experience the day from the driving seat!! Would highly recommend if you like speed and cars!!!

I had a fantastic morning at Brands Hatch. I got to experience the thrills of driving around one of the UK's best race tracks in 2 different cars. Firstly in a turbo-charged Megane Sport with an instructor that taught me how to drive the race line and really encouraged me to throw the car around! Then it was into the single seater on my own and once I got used to the car it was 10 laps of sheer exhilaration. Then as a bonus I had a couple of laps as a passenger in a race prepared Megane Sport with a professional driver to show you how its really done and boy did I have to hold on tight! A fantastic adrenaline packed morning!

I got this as a birthday present and it really does make a great gift. The cars were all great and the instructors were also very good. I have actually been before but I found it so enjoyable that I wanted to go again. I hope to do it again for my birthday next year!
