Not only great fun this driving experience is educational too! Find out how to react and put yourself back in control and how it feels when you hit black ice or if your car aquaplanes. Learn everything you need to know in front and rear wheel drive road cars in a safe and relaxed environment.
After a welcome and introductory briefing, jump in the car for some exhilarating skidding. You’ll drive front and rear wheel drive cars over slippery surfaces and learn to control (and enjoy!) the skid. The experience will last approximately 2 hours at the Fife location and 3 hours at the Wiltshire location.

This experience is available at 2 Locations:

  • Fife (Scotland) - Knockhill Racing Circuit
  • Wiltshire (South West) - Chippenham
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. You must hold a full UK driving license and be over the age of 17 to take part in this experience. The maximum height for this experience is 6’4”; maximum weight is 18 stone.

This skid control course was really useful. I get a bit nervous driving in the winter what with the black ice and stuff and now I know exactly how to handle the car if I go into a skid. Not that I'll be doing it deliberately mind! Only under close supervision of driving instructors!

I spend most of my driving life trying to avoid skidding so it was an interesting turn of events to try and skid on purpose! As well as the safety aspect of being able to drive more safely in winter weather it was lots of fun to do!
