Fast, furious and very tough, the turbo-charged Subaru Impreza WRX STi is a real head turner – and you’ll have the chance to command one of these powerful rally cars with this unforgettable driving experience. Over three exhilarating sessions you’ll grapple with the gravel and destroy the dirt, pushing the limits of this incredible car as you tear around a fun and challenging off-road course. Whether you’re learning to powerslide or speeding through the mud, you’ll love this exciting driving thrill.
This experience runs for half a day, giving you three sessions in an incredible, fully works prepared Subaru Impreza WRX STi! You can choose from a variety of surfaces; from forest roads to gravel - and your instructor will teach you rallying techniques such as power-slides, lift off over steer and other braking and cornering skills. Your sessions will be as follows:

Session 1
Each participant will drive a fully works-prepared Subaru Impreza WRX STi rally car around the stage with the instructor, who will teach the basic rally driving technique to suit the course surface.

Session 2
In the second session you will be better adjusted to the car, testing its level of over steer, grip, acceleration and braking whilst practicing your newly acquired skills.

Session 3
The final session is about putting into practice everything you've learnt! You will have an understanding of the car and its limits (if there are any) as well as some new rally driving skills! Can you powerslide this fantastic car around our stages in your final flying lap?

Refreshments are available from the Hospitality Truck. You will need to allow up to half a day at the venue.

This experience is available at 3 Locations:

  • Lincolnshire (Midlands) - Grantham
  • Oxfordshire (South West) - Chipping Norton
  • West Yorkshire (North) - Bradford
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. The West Yorkshire location is available from March 2011. Your experience will begin at either 9.00am or 1.00pm. Maximum height 6' 6". Minimum age 18 years. Participants must hold a full driving licence which must be presented on the day. You will be required to sign an activity form prior to participating on the experience. Drivers are divided into groups of 4 to share the same cars and instructor throughout the experience. Spectators are welcome at an additional cost - please check with the supplier upon booking. All dates are subject to availability.

It's a good experience, friendly staff and great cars. The only issue i would mention that the track can be very busy due to a number of cars on it in the same time. So if you get yourself the confidence and skill to go fast you usually have to slow down because find yourself right behind other drivers. You only have around 10 minutes driving, so it's annoying. Other thing, my wife paid to have a passenger experience with a "proffessional driver" and it was only 2 laps. 1 lap is maybe 80seconds, probably less. The guy was not driving better than some of us to be honest. She was very dissapointed as it was quite expensive.
