You can enjoy the fantastic opportunity to follow in the tracks of your racing heroes with a single-seater driving experience at Silverstone. The closest experience available to genuine F1 driving, you'll experience the ultimate freedom as you take on the challenging corners of this world-famous racetrack. Featuring precision-engineered aerodynamics and an ultra-lightweight frame, these extraordinary vehicles boast graceful handling – even at the unimaginable speeds you're sure to reach.
Your experience will start with a briefing, before taking to the circuit for your first lapping session, following a pace car while familiarising yourself with the track, the racing lines and braking areas. Then, for your second session, the pace car will leave the track F1 style and you’re on your own, free to push it as fast as you want to go! The experience will end with a debriefing. This experience takes place on the Stowe circuit at Silverstone.

Itinerary as follows:
30 minutes briefing on circuit driving techniques
20 minutes: First driving session (with pace car)
20 minutes: Second driving session (without pace car)
15 minutes Debrief

This experience is available at Northamptonshire:

  • Northamptonshire (Midlands) - Silverstone
Your voucher is valid for 10 months, for one person. Minimum age is 18 years. Maximum age is 70. Experiences run on weekdays and weekends subject to availability. Once made, bookings are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. The experience is not suitable for those who are pregnant, or those who suffer from epilepsy or heart conditions. Should your experience be cancelled due to bad weather, your experience will be rebooked. Spectators are welcome at no extra charge. Min height 5'2". Max height 6'4". Max weight 18 stone. A full manual driving licence must have been held for a minimum of one year and MUST be presented on the day (no photocopies). You should wear flat, narrow soled shoes, long sleeved shirt and trousers.

Yes I totally enjoyed my single seater driving experience at Silverstone. In most driving experiences I have been on in the past you are restricted to how fast you can go and you are not allowed to get too close to the car in front. On this particular experience you were allowed to overtake...which gave that extra appeal. Big thumbs up on this one.

I had a great day. The cars were everything I expected them to be. They were very well maintained and very fast! The instructor was clear and concise. I will definitely do this again. I would also like to mention that booking this with Buyagift was an incredibly easy and pleasant experience.
