This driving lesson offers you the opportunity to develop your driving skills before you even have your provisional licence – why wait until you are 17? As long as you're 11 or over and at least 4'8" you can get behind the wheel in a relaxed atmosphere. The driving experience will teach the basics – how to start, stop and change gear – with a department of transport approved instructor at your side, as well as gaining confidence on the open spaces of the race track. For added safety all vehicles have dual control.
Your Department of Transport approved instructor will teach you the basics of driving in a dual controlled BMW 1 Series. There will be up to two other people on this experience with you. You will be at the venue for around two and a half hours, including approximately 35 minutes of driving time each.

This experience is available at 3 Locations:

  • Bedfordshire (South East) - Bedford
  • Cheshire (North) - Oulton Park Circuit
  • Kent (South East) - Brands Hatch Circuit
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. You must pre-book a date for your experience, all dates are subject to availability. Minimum age is 11 years, minimum height is 4'8". This experience takes place in a BMW 1 Series. Please note that there will be up to two other participants on this experience with you. Personal accident insurance and cancellation cover is included in this package. The activity format and vehicles are subject to change without notice.

This was great to be able to drive with an understanding instructor before i had to start my driving lessons.
I had a fear of holding up traffic when i was learning to change gear.
This day gave me the chance to find out how to change gear and travel with out holding any other drivers up.
It was priceless.

I did this for my 13th birthday. I really like cars and this was a great 1st step towards driving. It was amazing and I had so much fun. I want to do it agan!

This was such a good experience. The cars were great and the instructors were brilliant -really helpful and they keep your confidence up. I know that this has helped prepare me for when I learn to drive properly I think it has made me understand cars much more. I would definitely love to go again and I have already told all my mates to go.

Young Driver's Experience at Brands Hatch.This was a gift for my 13th Birthday from my Mum and Dad. I had a brilliant day I was nervous but the instructor was great. There was 3 of us in the car with the instructor and we all took it in turns to drive up part of a racecourse. It was really good learning how to use the gears in a car and I can't wait to have proper lessons when I'm 17.Harry Stone.
