Microlights are small, lightweight aircraft designed like hang-gliders or small planes - stable and safe yet superbly manoeuvrable and capable of giving you a buzz! With this experience you'll take a trip with an experienced pilot, who will teach you about microlights; how they work, their history and how to fly one. Once in the air you can take control of the aircraft and experience the thrill of piloting the vehicle. This is a truly breathtaking experience, which is sure not to be forgotten.
Upon arrival you will be briefed on the principles of microlight flying. From there you will be taken to the microlight for a general familiarisation of the aircraft and a run-through of the controls. After this it's up, up and away for the 30 minute flight of a lifetime! Once in the air you will have the chance to take controls of the aircraft and so get the thrill of actually piloting a zippy light aircraft.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person; you are free to call the flying school to book a lesson using the details provided. The maximum weight is 14 stone. Minimum age  is 14 years old; under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Flight time will be 30 minutes, and no previous experience is necessary. The experience is subject to availability and weather conditions on the day; clients are advised to phone the morning of the lesson to check if it is safe to fly.

I flew in a microlight today! I think that's pretty cool! It was really easy to book with the flight school once I was given the voucher thankfully as I was so excited to get up there! It did not disappoint I'm telling you - everyone should try it.

I was searching for an interesting experience for my niece for her 21st birthday gift when I saw something that I was sure nobody else would have thought of - a microlight flight! It was definitely unique and I know she enjoyed her time flying by the massive great hug I got the next time I saw her!
