Experience a bygone era of aviation during this 30 minute flight over the English countryside. During the flight you will even have the chance to take the flight controls. This nostalgic flying experience is the only way to really appreciate the freedom of the skies offered by this wonderful aircraft.
After a briefing on the principles of aviation it 's time to don your flying jacket and goggles for a 30 minute flight of a lifetime. All flights are taken by expert pilots who are experienced instructors and all aircrafts have dual controls. You will be allowed to fly the plane in secure knowledge that you have expert assistance. If you are happier to fly as a passenger then just sit back and enjoy the ride. Please note that the aircraft used at Gloucestershire is actually a Stampe SV4c which is virtually identical to a Tiger Moth.

This experience is available at 8 Locations:

  • Cambridgeshire (South East) - Peterborough
  • Cambridgeshire (South East) - Peterborough
  • Gloucestershire (South West) - Cheltenham
  • Gloucestershire (South West) - Cheltenham
  • Kent (South East) - Manston
  • Surrey (South East) - Redhill
  • West Sussex (South East) - Shoreham-by-Sea
  • West Sussex (South East) - Shoreham
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. You must then choose the most appropriate location on final booking. At West Sussex minimum age is 16. At all other locations there is no minimum age requirement but you must be at least 4'11” tall. Maximum weight is 15 stone. All flights are taken by expert pilots who are experienced instructors and all aircraft have dual controls. You are allowed to fly the plane secure in the knowledge that you have expert assistance! At the Gloucestershire location, flights run all year except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Due to the age of these aircraft, locations may be subject to change during the year.

My husband had a fabulous flight in a stunning Tiger Moth plane he thoroughly enjoyed himself. The co-pilot was great and let him take control of the plane which he's been raving about non-stop. Recommend this for an original gift idea if you're in need of inspiration!

Thank you buyagift for this wonderful Tiger Moth flight which we purchased for my father. He had a superb half hour and was thrilled to be able to fly the plane himself for some of that time. The plane was beautiful such a classic! He hasn't stopped talking about it since so we think we might surprise him with another flight soon.
