For flying enthusiasts and absolute beginners, there is no greater thrill than flying in the open cockpit of a Tiger Moth. Used during World War II by the Royal Air Force to train its pilots to eventually go on to fly Spitfires and Hurricanes, this is the ultimate aviation nostalgia trip. When you arrive at one of the five locations available you will be greeted by your instructor who will guide you through the safety briefing before kitting you out in your authentic sheepskin jacket, hat and goggles. You will have the chance to have your photo taken, in your gear, next to the Tiger Moth before you and your instructor climb aboard and get ready for take-off. Once in the air, after a quick recap, it will be your turn to take control. You’ll be guided by your instructor to ensure you make the most of your flight. You then have the option to hand back control for an exhilarating aerobatics demonstration. Not for the faint of heart!

A GREAT SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PRESENT I bought this for my brother's 50th birthday present. He had no idea he was doing this until we got to the airport. We went to Shoreham, a lovely airport with a great cafe. The people at Perry Air were really friendly and recorded his flight which he now has on dvd. He got to fly the plane for a bit and they did a loop the loop which he really enjoyed. Well worth every penny. 07 September 2013
a day to remember the tiger moth flight was just the day for a wonderful memory,of days gone by,the pilot named Cedric was so informative about the tiger moth air plane,he asked me if i would like to do a loop the loop which i said yes to ,when we took off with myself dressed in a real leather flying jacket and flying helmet i really felt the part,we took off into the wild blue yonder, after about 10 mins of flying Cedric said was i ready to loop the loop of course i said yes,wow what an experience ,he asked if i was o k ,thumbs up to him ,he then asked if i would like to do a left hand roll, wow again, then to finish the great thrills we performed a right hand roll ,We were then just over Bogner Regis ,so back to Shoreham airport i then heard the pilot say you have control to which i thought O M G but after getting the nose of the plane correct after a few tries, we were just about ready to land so the pilot took control thank goodness ,and wow what a great landing, and a perfect end to thrilling day and a wonderful present from my family .a tiger moth flight from shoreham airport. gggrrreeeaaattt. 09 August 2013
