Fly a real fighter plane with the comfort of knowing you are in no danger of crashing – no matter what you do! This flight simulator is not like something you would find in the science museum, this is the real deal. Made from a real Delfin L29 fight jet, as used by the Romanian Air Force, this simulator has the real look, feel and even smell of what it is like to fly one of these incredible planes. You’ll even be kitted up in real genuine RAF issue kit, with Anti G-force pants, helmet and mask putting the finishing touches to the realism of this experience. You will receive expert tuition from your instructor as he guides you through your mission, from take off all the way through to landing. A Great Experience We arrived at the Stalybridge venue with our son-in-law, the recipient of the experience, a little early after allowing for traffic delays that thankfully didn't materialise. We were welcomed by Ian and Susan and after a pre-flight briefing the 'pilot' was kitted out with flying suite and helmet etc and took his place in the front seat of the simulator. The rest of us were seated in an upstairs room, complete with mugs of coffee, where we were able to view the same display as the pilot together with radar coverage of the flight and another screen showing a distant view of the plane in flight. After take off and a flight down the Menai Strait, the instructor performed a few loop the loops and rolls together with a pass under the Menai bridge. After this the 'pilot' took over the controls and after a bit of heather clipping on top of the Welsh mountains succeeded in performing some pretty good loops and a bit of inverted flying before heading back to the airfield. All in all a great day enjoyed by 'pilot'and onlookers alike. 14 June 2014
Top experience So you think you can fly a fast jet? This experience will prove it one way or another. Great realism, great fun and great tuition. Indeed experience made special by being able to 'fly' at times with no help from the instructor. And the wife watched it all on monitors in the reception - so she knows the real truth (unfortunately). 22 April 2014
Buzz the Menai Bridge I had a brilliant totally immersive experience from the get-go. Nothing was too much trouble and the team were very friendly. Amazing piece of engineering and software. 27 March 2014
