Take to the skies in a vintage 1940s Piper Super Cub with this unforgettable flying experience. During your 60 minute flight you will be able to take control of a classic aircraft under the guidance and supervision of an experienced instructor who will show you everything you need to feel confident in the cockpit. You’ll be amazed as you soar over the beautiful landscape of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire, and you’ll even be able to land the plane yourself on a gorgeous countryside farm strip.
This 60 minute flying experience is ideal for anyone who has ever wanted to soar through the sky! Upon arrival you will be met by your experienced instructor, who will introduce you to the plane – the vintage Piper Super Cub PA18-95 G-ARVO - and give you a briefing on safety and flight techniques. The instructor will then lift off and you will fly over the beautiful landscape of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire while being shown the basic flying manoeuvres. Once the aircraft is levelled off you will have the amazing opportunity to take control of this classic aircraft! You will even be allowed to land the plane, and you’ll be delighted as you touch down on a beautiful countryside farm strip.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. Minimum age is 14. The maximum weight for this is 16 stone and maximum height is 6'4”. If the participant is under 18 a parent or guardian needs to join them on the day. You should wear soft soled shoes and bring gloves in cold weather. Please be advised this may not be suitable for persons who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, or heart conditions. Please note that this experience is weather dependent – please call the supplier before leaving on the day of the experience. Cameras can be used on the day and on the ground by relatives, even around the planes, but they are prohibited inside the cockpit for safety reasons. Spectators are welcome at no additional cost.
