Buy now
After taking to the air, you will fly southward towards the old wartime airfield of Long Marston, where the runways can still clearly be seen. With the Cotswold hills rising in the distance, your flight takes you to Moreton-in-Marsh, with its honey coloured buildings and church spires. You will also visit nearby Sezincote House, a Cotswold stately home, and Batsford Arboretum. Turning towards Chipping Campden and Broadway village, you reach Broadway Tower - “The Highest Little Castle in the Cotswolds”, which you will circle for a great view before returning to the airfield.
After a welcome, you will be weighed to obtain an accurate weight for the flight planning calculations. The staff will check you in and allocate you a seat, after which you will be given a boarding pass. You will then receive a safety briefing and be escorted to the aircraft for your fantastic flight! Your flight will be in a Cessna 172. There will be a maximum of three passengers on each flight. Spectators are welcome to watch from the secure viewing area.

Dad used to holiday in the Cotswolds when he was a boy so we thought he'd like to see some of the area from an aerial viewpoint! He really liked being able to see the old runways at Long Marston as anything wartime interests him. He said the views were breathtaking and you could see all the houses and stately homes very clearly. As one of only 3 passengers he had a brilliant position at the window!
