Sit back and prepare to enjoy the sights of London from a totally unique perspective during this flight in a Dragon Rapide, one of the best loved pre-war aircraft. All seats on the aircraft are next to a large window enabling you to have the best view while on board. Taking off from Duxford in Cambridgeshire, you will make your way across the countryside to London, where you will be able to take in the sights of the capital in style before making your way back to Duxford.
On arrival at the Imperial War Museum you will have a pre-flight briefing before taking off on your 70 minute sightseeing flight over London. On returning, your voucher entitles you to free entry to the museum, and any accompanying spectators pay just half price.

  • Cambridgeshire (South East) - Duxford
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. You must pre-book a date for your experience. This voucher is for one person only. Over 16 's only. Flights are available on selected weekdays and most weekends throughout the season from March to October. Weight limit is 20 stone. This voucher entitles the holder to free entry to the Imperial War Museum, Duxford. It is essential to call the centre on the morning of the flight to check it will go ahead. All flights are weather dependent and therefore subject to suitable flying conditions. If a flight has to be cancelled it will be rebooked for an alternative date. Please note that spectators must pay to enter the museum to be able to watch the flight take off. Refreshment facilities are available on site.

I was tickled pink when a month before my 60th Alan my son produced a buyagift tin containing a voucher for a flight aboard a Dragon Rapide. I managed to get a booking for my birthday and Alan came along and went to the Imperial War museum with me afterwards.

My dad had such an amazing time aboard the Dragon Rapide that he wanted to write his own review on here even although he doesn't use the internet! Bought the Dragon Rapide Flight for his 60th and wanted to say that the free entry to the Imperial War museum was a nice touch and rounded off the day well.
