Life long dream accomplished

5 out of 5 23 August 2015
Location: Cambridge Age: 35-44 Bought For Relative Occasion: Christmas
This was a gift for my partner who has always dreamed of being a pilot. Regular visitor to Sim2do which is again an excellent experience but nothing like being up in the air. Flying experience was great, however organisation not so much. Told to arrive at 08:45 with a 9:00 flight (or within an hour of this time), did not fly until 11:06 which made the morning a very long one considering we had to leave the house at 06:45. Fortunately there were lots of sky dives happening at the time which gave us something to watch... There was an option to pay for the flight to be filmed, which we did.... Only to be told after that the camera had not been reset and did not film anything. Very disappointing, however did get our money back. So, ignoring the poor organisation... The actual flying was amazing and my partner wants to do it again as soon as possible... Hence the five star rating.
What would you improve for next time? The organisation of the flight schedule, it is not the guests fault that there were only two pilots on duty with only one camera - for what that was worth

Amazing experience

5 out of 5 17 May 2014
Location: West London Age: 25-34 Bought For Dad Occasion: Birthday
After a tour of the airfield we were then taken to the planes where we were shown around the whole aircraft and explained how it worked. We then ran through the pre flight checks which I helped in. Once we were in motion I was given most of the control and was even able to take off. Once airborne I took the controls under the instruction of the pilot until it was time to land when I handed it over rather than landing myself. The staff were very friendly and gave a great talk after on how to become a pilot and even provided lunch. Amazing day out and recommend it to any want to be pilots.
What would you improve for next time? The times that are available to do it. I had to leave London quite early on a Saturday to make it on time.

Location: Manchester Age: 25-34 Bought For Partner Occasion: Birthday
Went to Blackpool Intl Airport, Experienced fantastic customer service from all of the staff. Pleasantly surprised that I could be accompanied by my girlfriend. The pilot let me take the controls for at least 90% of the flight. I would recommend this experience to anyone and I would love to do it again! Thanks
