Grab the chance to partake in a top-notch flying lesson! You will have instruction from a qualified pilot who has years of aviation experience. This experience allows you take over controls of a light aircraft as you soar through the skies. Not only will you learn what it takes and how it feels to fly a plane but you will gain knowledge on the controls and systems of a light aircraft. This is a superb, thrilling experience which allows you to experience the great world of aviation.
On arrival you will have a short briefing by your experienced, professional flying instructor. Then it's time to get into the aircraft. You will be sat in the ‘driving seat' and the instructor will do some pre-flight checks, taxi the plane to the runway and take off! Once airborne you will be taught basic manoeuvres and controls to take complete command of the plane. The aircraft is fitted with dual control so the instructor can assist whenever necessary. The experience will last for 30 minutes. Family and friends are welcome to come along and watch you fly and take some pictures.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months, for one person. When booking, you must inform the center if you are over 6'4” or 16 stone as an extra charge may be necessary if a bigger plane is required. Minimum age is 14 years old. If the participant is under 18 a parent or guardian needs to join them on the day. You must become a temporary member of the air center on the day, it is free of charge and ensures you are covered by the center's insurance. Lessons are subject to availability and weather conditions on the day and so clients are advised to phone the morning of the lesson to check it is safe to fly.
