Experience a bygone age of aviation. Your lesson will last 15 minutes and during the flight you will be given the opportunity to take the controls if you wish. This nostalgic flying experience is the only way to really appreciate the freedom of the skies offered by this wonderful classic aircraft, the Tiger Moth.
After a briefing on the principles of aviation it’s time to don your goggles and flying jacket for a 15 minute flight of a lifetime. All flights are taken by expert pilots who are experienced instructors and all aircraft have dual controls. You will be allowed to fly the plane secure in the knowledge that you have expert assistance.

This experience is available at 6 Locations:

  • Cambridgeshire (South East) - Duxford
  • Gloucestershire (South West) - Cheltenham
  • Gloucestershire (South West) - Cheltenham
  • Surrey (South East) - Redhill
  • West Sussex (South East) - Shoreham-by-Sea
  • West Sussex (South East) - Shoreham
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. At the West Sussex location, flights operate on Sundays only most of the year round - please enquire upon booking regarding winter flight availability. There is no minimum age requirement but you must be at least 4'11" tall. The maximum weight is 16 stone. You should be agile as embarking and disembarking is difficult and requires flexibility. Please be advised this experience may not be suitable for persons who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, or heart disease. Please note that the plane you fly may differ in livery from the ones shown here. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Please note, flight time may be chock to chock. Due to the age of these aircraft, locations may be subject to change during the year.

Always loved the Biggles type stuff when I was younger so having a go in a Tiger Moth was way up there on my list. My family finally got the hint when I pointed out what a good deal this was. So i finally got to have a go on a Tiger Moth and it was everything I hoped it would be. The pilot was friendly and we talked about other vintage aircraft. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience.

Having my first proper flying experience in a tiger moth biplane was fab! I actually got a chance to fly the plane myself for most of it! The pilot instructor was lovely and it made me really consider proper flying lessons in the future.
