Sushi Making Workshop with YO! Sushi for Two
An alternative great evening!
I purchased this as a Christmas present to my boyfriend, but have only just got round to using it - overall the experience was great and worth the wait!
Although we were a little late in arriving, the staff were very welcoming and friendly and had saved seats together for us. The tutor was very informative, and talked us through the ingrediants, styles and methods of making - as well as coming round to help us individually and dish out praise! In total we made 6 dishes, all of which were lovely and very tasty. The tutor took his time with us all, and the class lasted roughly two hours - alot more time than I was expecting them to dedicate.
As we had made so much in the class, we were given take away dishes and sauces for the remainder we couldn't eat after the class.
Potential negative - it would be good to be able to use an online booking form to see where availability was as I feel this would make booking easier.
I picked this activity as I thought it was something different to do, but it exceeded my expectations and was great fun, as well as great value for money!

Sushi Tastic Experience
My wife and I have always had an interest in food, especially Sushi. I came across this experience, and decided to surprise my wife, and make a day out of it in London for the both of us. I selected the St Paul's branch that was in a beautiful location overlooking St Paul's Cathedral, where upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and a warm welcome. The teacher was excellent, and he made us all feel at ease with an introduction of Sushi, and the methods of making the rice and using the equipment. We were taught how to make 3 styles of sushi; Makizushi, Temakizushi and Nigirizushi, all of which were surprisingly easy to learn and master. The whole experience was interesting, fun and relaxed, and I have to say that we both had a blast. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to try something different and learn something new.
