Learn about the history of chocolate as the chocolatier takes you on a journey to create a filling for your truffles before dipping them into Belgian chocolate and then decorating your masterpieces. Great fun for all!
The two and a half hour workshop begins with information on the history of chocolate and then the pleasurable task of sampling a chocolate fountain. You will then create truffle fillings, dip your truffles in Belgian chocolate and design and decorate your toppings. All attendees then take home their creations of 40-50 good sized fine genuine Belgian chocolates all wrapped, designed and made by you.

My 10yr old daughter and I had a great time. We made 2 big trays of chocolate truffles, decorated them, wrapped them up and took them home. There was only 10 in the class and quite a small room which made it feel quite homely. Chocolate fountain was....lush...! My daughter wants to go back and take some friends with her for her birthday party. Highly recommended :-)

Went to a chocolate workshop in London, it isn't what we thought, thought we would learn more about chocolate from the start of the process etc. All we learnt was how chocolate first came into this country and where it came from. Then we had to try and fill at least 90mins dipping fudge into a bowl of chocolate and putting a few hundred and thousands on them to make them look like chocolates. A 3year could have done this. We was so disappointed. My best friend brought me this for my birthday and she came with me, she was so upset, she felt embarrassed as it was more suitable to a child than an adult . I really don't think it is worth the money, it needs to be looked at before you sell the one in London, Have read other reviews and they raved about them, But they weren't in London. Sorry but a waste of money.

Bought this as a birthday gift for a friend. Spent a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours learning how to make very proffesional looking truffles in the pleasant surroundings of a hotel in Bath. We had a great time and left proudly carrying between 30 and 50 chocolates. Some even made it back home!!
I would definately recommend this activity to a friend who adores chocolate.

Occasion: Anniversary
Experience was bought as a wedding anniversary present by family for mum and dad. It was a fun and informative. We made our own chocolates with help and had unlimited access to a chocolate fountain.
the instructors were friendly, approachable and helpful.Would recommend it.
Only downside with Nottingham venue was that hotel did not have its own car park and the NCP was expensive.
