Romantic castle dining for a special occasion

The castle is set in beautiful gardens with lovely spring flowers flourishing in the romantic ruins. Staff were genuinely helpful and efficient but without that annoying obsequious attention. Lunch was excellent (though not sure about the crispy crumb coated black pudding with the scallops - looked like something from Tesco) in the stunning dining hall. We were thoroughly relaxed and not rushed and other guests felt the same as we chatted. Would we go back, certainly.
