The old world charm of the hotel saw us relax in the lounge with a sherry.
Very helpful staff gave us a menu to peruse.
We choose from the A la carte for it's variety
Be prepared the starters are large portions - beautifully presented as was the rest of the meal
Ever tried a generous portion gravelx Salmon with a olive oil and grain mustard Jus - looked odd but tasted delicious
The Fillet steak and sirloin steaks were cooked to perfection - would have preferred fresh chips rather than the frozen ones given
Too full to take in anything except a mixture of ice cream

Very disappointing retirement gift for my parents. My parents used this vouchure during a short break. They received a friendlier and warmer welcome elsewhere during their break and received much nicer food. Also, although there was a complimentary glass of wine listed on the vouchure, this was never recieved or offered. Overall they were disappointed with Scotland's Hotel and have commented that they would not be in a rush to return!
