This hands-on master class teaches the subtle art of making perfect sushi every time. During the class you will learn how to cook rice for sushi, how to prepare ingredients and where to source the best ingredients. You will learn a variety of recipes that you can recreate again and again at home. Classes are small, with a maximum of 8 participants to ensure that you will get plenty of one to one tuition.
This hands-on class begins at 10:00am and lasts for 2½ hours. All ingredients for the class will be provided on the day and are included in the cost of the experience. You will learn a variety of recipes and will be provided with notes on these. Unlimited wine and refreshments will be served throughout the class. At the end of the class you will receive a starter kit for making your first sushi at home. You will also be able to take home the sushi that you have made during the class.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. Courses are available on selected dates and run from 10:00am until 12:30pm. Please note that all courses are subject to availability - please enquire upon booking. Light weight clothing is recommended. Sensible, covered shoes with a good grip must be worn at all times. There will be a maximum of 7 other participants in the class with you.

I was bought this sushi experience by my boyfriend, for the two of us to go together. We had a great time. The explanations of Japanese cuisine and ingredients to be used and prepared were great. The ingredients were plentiful and we got to take loads of sushi home, plus extra ingredients that was left over, were we able to take home too. The instructions by the chef was very clear and helpful all the way along, particular as the class was small so we got lots of individual time.
The Chef was English speaking, which might sound odd but I've been to a demo in London and it was very difficult to communicate and understand what the chef was saying.
Highly recommend this. The take home pack is great - Lovely to get you started when you get home.

Not that great at all...just an ok class

We had 2 vouchers for this and were really looking forward to it with my husband. We were left a bit disappointed by the little sushi we produced and the quality of the ingredients that were used. Although the chef was helpful we felt that 2 hours was too little to learn how to make sushi and this does not really qualifies as a master class i think. We will be making another class soon with another Sushi cookery school we found as we LOVE sushi and want to learn more.

I am a big sushi fan and thought this was a great class to learn about sushi it was easy to ask questions. I especially liked being given a starter kit so I could try it at home straight away.
