Emirates Stadium facilities

Emirates Stadium has an all seated capacity of 60,355, the second largest football club stadium in England behind Manchester United's Old Trafford.

The project cost £390 million, including the cost of the associated infrastructure.

The pitch is 105x68 metres in size and runs north-south with the players' tunnel and the dugouts on the west of the pitch.

The roof is significantly canted inwards to provide as much airflow and sunlight to the pitch as possible.

The Arsenal club museum is located to the north of the stadium.

Arsenal facts

Arsenal Football Club was originally called Woolwich Arsenal and was first established in 1886 by workers at the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, South-East London.

The club moved from South East London to Highbury in North London in 1913, dropping Woolwich from their name in the following year.

Arsenal's famous red shirts are recognition of a charitable donation from Nottingham Forest soon after Arsenal's foundation in 1886. The kit was updated to the white sleeves and red shirts that we see today, in 1933.

Arsenal became the first London team to reach the final of the Champions League in 2005/06.
