Falconry techniques have been refined over centuries. This hands on full day course gives you the opportunity to interact with magnificent birds of prey up close before learning how to fly them to the fist. The birds are not trained to do tricks, they simply mimic what comes naturally to them. All the birds on show will display their natural instincts to soar, quarter, pounce and mantle. The experienced staff will share their extensive knowledge of different species of bird and answer any questions that you may have.
Your experience starts with an informative tour of the centre where you will meet the trainers and see the birds of prey close up. Then you will learn all about their different characteristics, speed capabilities and hunting habits. This full day experience offers you plenty of opportunity to fly some of them to the fist and ample time to take photographs of this truly unforgettable experience. As a guide your experience will last for 6 to 7 hours.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. All equipment will be provided for your experience, but it is advisable to bring a pair of wellington boots with you and wear suitable outdoor clothing for the time of year. Please note that the species of bird flown will be dependent on the time of year.
