This course gives you the opportunity to share in falconry knowledge at one of the largest centres in the UK. You will be allowed to interact with the magnificent birds of prey up close before learning how to fly them to the fist. The birds are not trained to do tricks, they simply behave as comes naturally to them. All the birds on show will display their natural instincts to soar, quarter, pounce and mantle.
You will start the day meeting the trainers who will give you an introduction about the centre and the birds. You will learn all about their different characteristics, speed capabilities and hunting habits. This full day experience offers you plenty of opportunity to fly some of them to the fist in the magnificent Kent countryside. After a light lunch which is provided you will have a question and answer session and you will have ample time to take photographs of this truly unforgettable experience. As a guide your experience will last for 6 and a half hours.

  • Kent (South East) - Enysford
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. All equipment will be provided for your experience, but it is advisable to bring a pair of wellington boots with you and wear suitable outdoor clothing for the time of year. Please note that the species of bird flown will be dependent on the time of year. The minimum age for this experience is 14 years of age. Lunch will be provided on the day.

Decided to go for this birds of prey day as it looked like a memorable experience and was quite local to me.I couldn't have predicted how amazing it'd feel to have these majestic birds fly to your fist! I took a ridiculous amount of photos as these birds are just so striking. It was a full day experience with lunch included excellent all round.
