Within an hour of arriving at the centre you will be flying a bird. The centre will supply top level teaching by an experienced instructor to ensure you get the most from your experience. You will have the amazing opportunity to take the birds into the woods and fields close by to the school where you will be flying a hawk, buzzard or owl under expert supervision. This is a brilliant opportunity for any falconry fans.
Your experience will start with tea and coffee and a brief introduction into the centre and birds of prey. You will then be learning the basics of how to fly and handle these magnificent birds, within a short time you will be flying a hawk, buzzard or owl in the neighbouring woods and fields. There will be plenty of opportunities for pictures and you can ask any questions you may have concerning the birds and the falconry at any time during the course. You will be at the venue for approximately 3 hours in total.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. All equipment will be provided for your experience, but it is advisable to bring a pair of wellington boots with you and wear suitable outdoor clothing for the time of year. Please note that the species of bird flown will be dependent on the time of year. There will be a maximum of 6 people participating in this experience.

I bought this as a gift for my Father and my Husband. They were so very disappointed with the whole experience. They were not 'flying' a bird within one hour. They held a bird and were told lots of informtion about it and that was about it! They have had a better experience at the wild bird section of our local garden centre. A waste of money, time and effort and I will be reluctant to purchase a gift experience from your company again!

I was very impressed with this birds of prey experience they get you flying the birds nice and quickly so you feel really involved and make the most of your few hours. I thought the tuition was great and flying a hawk out in the fields was definitely the highlight for me.
