This centre has been running for 21 years and the staff are knowledgeable and experienced with all the birds. This half day course gives you the opportunity to share in this knowledge and also to interact with these magnificent birds of prey up close. You will be flying Eagle Owls, Harris Hawks, Buzzards and Barn Owls. This experience is a perfect taster into the exciting world of falconry and is sure to be something that you never forget.
Your experience starts with tea and coffee and an introduction and tour to the centre. You will see the variety of birds close up and learn all about them. After that, you will have the chance to fly the Eagle Owls, Harris Hawks, Buzzards and Barn Owls to the fist under the watchful eye of the trainer. Finally there will be plenty of photo opportunities to capture a truly unforgettable experience. You will be at there for approximately 3 hours in total.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. All equipment will be provided for your experience, but it is advisable to bring a pair of wellington boots with you and wear suitable outdoor clothing for the time of year. Please note that the species of bird flown will be dependent on the time of year. The minimum age for this experience is 12 years.

What a fantastic event. The owner was so knowledgeable witty and pleasant. The centre was very well stocked and all birds were in top class condition and my wife and grandchildren had plenty to occupy them whilst I was flying. I would recommend this centre 100%.

I had a brilliant time on my birds of prey experience - all the staff at the centre were great so enthusiastic and really knew everything about the birds. The few hours you're there for go so quickly flying the birds is amazing I especially loved the barn owl. I didn't want it to end!
