Wise, wonderful and breathtaking; there really is no species like the owl, and you can find out all about them with this fascinating day out. A truly unforgettable experience, you’ll be delighted as a trained expert introduces you to a wide variety of stunning owls from all over the world. As well as finding out countless facts about these birds of prey, you’ll also have the chance to handle and fly the owls – making this a real ‘hands on’ experience!
Upon arrival you will be met by your expert guide, who will give you a safety briefing before introducing you to a wide variety of trained owls. During your experience you will learn how to fly and handle owls from various parts of the world, with the birds soaring down to your gloved hand. Your guide will be on hand to explain everything you want to know about these majestic birds of prey. This experience lasts approximately two hours.

  • Derbyshire (North) - Risley
Your voucher is valid for ten months. All equipment will be provided for your experience, but it is advisable to bring a pair of wellington boots with you and wear suitable outdoor clothing for the time of year. Please note that children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who will need to pay a £10 spectator fee. All dates are subjext to availability.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who likes owls. The experience completely exceeded both of our expectations. It was hands on from the start and really informative. The group got to handle/fly about 6 or 7 birds despite the weather not being great for the activity. Staff were helpful and made the group feel at ease. I would really recommend this activity to someone else and we are thining of returning for another activity.
