This amazing chance to come into contact with all the big cats at the renowned Wildlife Heritage Centre in Kent is a once in a lifetime opportunity: as a Ranger For a Day, you'll get closer than ever before to these incredible animals. As well as a guided tour of the centre, you'll be shown how to tend to all the big cats the WHF currently looks after, and you'll even be allowed to help feed them. You'll be treated to a light lunch, and there will be lots of opportunities for photos along the way!
Your session will start with a safety briefing, which is very important when you are about to work with the world's top predators. This is followed by a short presentation on the work of the Wildlife Heritage Foundation, both in the UK and overseas. Next up is a guided tour of the site to meet all the cats - including lions, tigers, cheetahs, snow and Amur leopards - followed by an opportunity to help the keepers clean and tend the cats, assist with the cat feeding and to get some really good photos as mementos of the day. Light buffet lunch is included. This experience will last approximately 5 hours.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. Please note, this experience is available on weekdays only. This experience is not available on Mondays. You are free to contact the supplier to book a date for your experience. Participants must be aged 16 years or over - anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. You may bring a guest for a minimum donation of £75 per person. Because you will be working with animals and as this is an outside experience, the program will vary with the season and time of day. Sessions are limited and subject to pre–booking and availability. Disabled participants are welcome; however there are currently no specific disabled toilet facilities on site, access to the standard toilets is up two steps. The rest of the site is accessible to all except in very wet weather when the grass surface may not be suitable for wheelchair users.
