Virgin Active Relaxation Package for Two
bad start but great place
They had no towels, no locks on the lockers and the answerphone didn't say they closed on Sunday and Monday so I just kept ringing and leaving messages..those are the negatives..positively..the people were absolutely charming and couldn't do enough to help. Lunch was really delicious, lots of facilities, nice treatments and such lovely friendly people. If I lived locally I'd join!

Great treatments - but…..
The massage etc was really great and I would recommend, but I was not impressed with Virgin Active. It was impossible to book at two of the central London Virgin Actives - one never answered the phone, the other told me they no longer offered the treatment. I booked at Virgin Active in Wandsworth Smugglers Way and was slightly shocked to find when we got to the changing room that we had to go back to reception and get a padlock for the locker, leaving some valuable with them in case we went off with it! The pool / saunas were fine but nothing special. The refreshment area was very basic and not very attractive - we left and found a cosy cafe elsewhere. If I were buying this type of package I would look for one in more luxurious surroundings - that way I would feel really pampered.

Best 21st gift
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, was a lovely gift for my 21st and was a great way to spend time with my mum and have quality time together. Would recommend this to my friends and family, the massage and facial left us both feeling relaxed and wanting to have another. The staff were very pleasant and made the day more enjoyable.

Could have been a great experience.
My son bought me the revitaliser pamper package for 2 as a Christmas present and I decided to wait until the summer and the better weather. Unfortunately I hadn't realised how far in advance I needed to book and the Health Club I really wanted to go to, and which he had assumed i would go to as it had 5*reviews, was fully booked until beyond the expiry date of my voucher which was disappointing. I booked instead for one still within reasonable travelling distance for myself and my daughter who was accompanying me, that was able to fit us in before the gift voucher expired. My experience was brilliant, totally relaxing with a wonderful full body massage, back exfoliation and facial with head massage. However my daughter's experience was slightly disappointing. The beautician doing hers said she was only entitled to two treatments, not 3 as stated on the voucher so she didn't get the back exfoliation. As part of my full body massage I received a lovely foot massage, she didn't, and I had a really relaxing scalp massage. She didn't, just the hairline not all over her head. I guess it depends on who you get doing your treatment but I feel it should be consistent with what it says on the voucher. I didn't find out until we were discussing it on the way home so couldn't address it at the time. Unfortunately I can't comment on the other facilities available as part of the experience ie. pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc. because when I got in the changing room I discovered I had forgotten my swimsuit!! Silly me but I'm sure they were excellent. So all in all a good experience.

Spa - Surrey sports & Racquets
We were very well looked after by the team at the Virgin Active Spa in Croydon.
A good choice would be to get there early and use the gym, pool etc before finishing off with this 80 mins of bliss (whoops to almost drifting off a few times) and food in the bar was nice and reasonably priced.

Lovely Gift for 2
Started of a bit worried as my mum is nearly 80 but she and I had a relaxing 1.50 hours with all the massages and treatments and the girls carrying out the treatments made us both feel very welcome. Unfortunately we didn't experience the spa facilities but they were offered,

The best massage we have had
My husband and I have just had a relaxing time at virgin active Northampton with a revitaliser package for two, the best massage and facials we have ever had, very good value, we didn't make use of all the other facilities but will make sue we have more time in future, we will certainly book this again.

I made the booking after many phone calls as the policy is that you have to have to have both booking either at the same time or one after the other. I mentioned that my husband had High pressure the girl came back and said that was fine as it was only a massage . We arrived and was asked to complete health forms. The gir went away with the forms and said they could not let my husband as he needed a Drs note. I went ahead with the revitalizing package. The girls hardly talked I tried to make conversation. They gad told me it took an hr and a Half but it was finished in let than an hr. When I went out to the reception I was confronted with three girls who told me that I did not gave an appropriate voucher and on their screen the package had been used somewhere else and would have to pay the full cost. It was very uncomfortable. They never offered to ring buy a gift. I used my mobile to ring buy a gift and was lucky to get a very helpful man who explained to them that I had not used the voucher before. He emailed the voucher to the line manger. They were not helpful and they told me that I could not use the voucher for my husband so basically I had paid for just me. It was really the attitude of the staff that I did not enjoy the experience. I will still orde from buy a gift but not fir that one

A great spa day
II booked this as a treat for myself and my friend's 30th birthday this year.
I had a relaxing day and my friend said
