I was lucky enough to be given a voucher for an Indulgent Spa Break for Two at Rowhill Grange through work earlier this year. I invited a friend along for the break and we had a great time. Our first impressions when we arrived were high – the tree lined drive up to the entrance is beautiful and you get glimpses of their spectacular grounds. Check in was really easy and we were escorted to the Gardenia room by a nice gentleman. Our room was amazing – really spacious and luxurious. We had pre-booked a few treatments so we headed off to the spa – the receptionists there were just as helpful and friendly as all the other staff we encountered during our stay. The spa facilities were great – there’s a sauna, steam room, pool, Jacuzzi and therapy pool which were all nice and clean, and the entire spa has a great Grecian feel to it.
We had a good night’s sleep and in the morning had a full English breakfast which was more than enough for me, but you could choose items from the buffet too if you wanted. After breakfast we checked out, but they stored our cases and we kept our robes and slippers and used the spa facilities up until 3pm so the pampering didn’t have to stop right away. All the same, we were very sad to leave and return to the real world when the time came. We both had a really relaxing break and will definitely be returning soon.
