Enjoy a Kensington Palace tour and explore this beautiful royal palace before tucking into Champagne afternoon tea
With hundreds of years of royal history, Kensington Palace was remodelled by Sir Christopher Wren in 1689. Other notable residents include George II, Queen Anne and Queen Victoria who was born there. In more recent times, the palace became the residence of Diana, Princess of Wales from 1981 to 1997. After your tour, make your way to the Orangery where your afternoon tea includes salmon sandwiches, scones and glass of Champagne.

On arrival you are free to take the audio tour and visit the Royal Ceremonial Dress collection and the magnificent State Apartments. After your tour, make your way to the Queen Anne Orangery in the grounds for a tea with cake, scones, sandwiches and Champagne. The whole experience will last 2-3 hours.

On purchasing this experience you will be issued with an open dated voucher for two people valid for ten months. This experience is suitable for anyone over the age of 18. The palace is open from 10am and tea is served from 3pm until 5pm. We suggest allowing up to two hours for your tour of the palace. Please note that some exhibitions may be closed on certain days without notice; availability depends on the circumstances of the day.

I Wanted to treat my mum to a nice day for her birthday. Saw these tickets to Kensington Palace on Buyagift and thought it would be perfect for her. I was looking for something really traditionally British for when my American friend came to visit. Afternoon Tea seemed the obvious choice, and I'd seen several recommendations for The Orangery at Kensington Palace. I was glad I chose it because the food was delicious, especially the scones and clotted cream, plus the tour of the palace was fabulous and really interesting to my friend.
