If you have always wanted to experience the magic of yachting then this experience is for you!
Your skipper will introduce you to the basics and then you will sail for the rest of the morning taking turns behind the wheel with the other participants.
This is a great way to enjoy this wonderful sport, on the safe waters of the Solent.

Your experience begins with coffee and a safety briefing then your RYA Yachtsmaster skipper will introduce you to the basics of sailing. Then it 's hands-on sailing for the rest of the morning with everyone taking turns behind the wheel, steering the boat out into the Solent and Southampton Water. You will be able to carry on improving your sailing skills or just sit back and relax in the well protected cockpit. All refreshments afloat are included.
Your experience lasts from 10:00am to approximately 01:00pm

Notes

Your voucher is valid for ten months, for TWO people. You are free to contact the centre to arrange a day for your experience. This experience is available selected Tuesdays and Saturdays during the season (1st April - 31st October) and all bookings are subject to availability. Sailing may be cancelled or curtailed in severe weather conditions. If in any doubt please call the centre before departing for your experience. There will be a maximum of seven people on board plus the skipper. Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the Marina, but will not be able to join you on board. Please dress warmly and casually with extra layers. All safety equipment is provided for you. Minimum age is 16, maximum weight 20 Stone. No previous sailing experience is required and non-swimmers are welcome.
