Head out after dark and fly some owls - it'll be a hoot!
This experience gives owl lovers the chance to fly these spectacular creatures at a time of the day when they would normally be active. You will be introduced to the owls and then be able to handle and fly different types such as Tawny Owl, Snowy Owl, Barn Owl, Little Owl, Asian Brown Wood Owl and different species of Eagle Owl.

Your experience begins at 6:00pm (at the Wiltshire location you may choose either a daytime experience starting at 10:00am or an evening experience starting at 6:00pm) and includes a brief introduction. You will then get a chance to fly up to six different types of owl such as Barn Owl, Tawny Owl, Snowy Owl, Little Owl, Asian Brown Wood Owl and different species of Eagle Owl. The species of owl available varies between locations. The experience lasts approximately 2-2.5 hours and light refreshments are included.

On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months. You are then free to contact the venue direct to arrange your experience. Spectators are permitted at the Midlands location, at a charge of £12.50 per person.

I chose the evening owl flying experience which was brilliant in the dusky light, I got to handle the owls and have them fly. They're amazing creatures, very beautiful. Think my favourite was flying the Tawny Owl.

It would be safe to say that my mum is obsessed with owls (her house is covered in the birds!), so when I saw this gift experience that offered to let her come into contact with and fly all these different types of owl I knew I could not find a more perfect present for her! She was in heaven at that aviary!
