Notes

On purchasing this experience you will be sent an open dated gift voucher with 10 months validity. This experience is for two people on a week day. The voucher will have the contact details to make your booking. You will be seated in a dining car for the entire journey. A vegetarian option is available and should be requested at time of booking. You will each receive a half bottle of champagne and a souvenir guide on the day of your experience. The operator reserves the right to vary the locomotives throughout the year and for operational reasons it may be necessary to change locomotives at short notice. Please note that this experience does not include special event trains, Christmas shopping or carol specials.

My dad is a steam train fanatic and owns about a million books about them, so I thought for his 70th I'd take him on the Steam Train Dining Experience. The staff were really kind and helped him aboard, congratulating him when I told them it was his birthday. We enjoyed a four course dinner and were given small bottles of champagne to keep. He felt really special and appreciated.
