The Cathedral Express is pulled by fabulous vintage steam engines, offering customers a relaxed, unhurried and civilised journey. You will be seated in a first class coach, and treated to a glass of champagne and orange juice upon departure, and a delightful picnic platter including light snacks and delicacies for you to enjoy. You will also receive a half bottle of champagne and a souvenir guide per person.

The voucher will have the contact details to make your booking. Destinations include Bath, Bristol, Cambridge, Canterbury, Chichester, Oxford, Salisbury, Sherborne, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick but upon contact with the operator they may be able to offer other destinations or special offers. Most trains depart early to mid morning, from a London station or from other drop off points outside London and return in the evening, giving you plenty of time to explore the delights your chosen city has to offer. The trains go to different destinations on different dates, and Steam Dreams will give you a list of their yearly schedule upon request. You will receive a light hamper on your way and a more substantial hamper on your return journey. You will also receive a half bottle of champagne and a souvenir guide per person. Your seat will be in a compartment for up to six people.

On purchasing this experience you will be sent an open dated gift voucher with 10 months validity. This experience is for two people on a weekday departure. A vegetarian meal is available and should be requested at time of booking. The voucher will have the contact details to make your booking. The operator reserves the right to vary the locomotives throughout the year and for operational reasons it may be necessary to change locomotives at short notice. Please note that this experience does not include special events, the Christmas shopping or carol specials. All trains depart mid-late morning from mainline London stations and return by around 9pm, giving you 3-4 hours to explore the delights your chosen city has to offer.
