Indulge in 2 of France’s delicacies: wine & cheese! Beginning with a flute of champagne, you will be guided through a tasting experience by a French sommelier. After your session you will have a better knowledge of France’s wine regions and a greater appreciation for French wine and its champagne! Ideally situated in the very heart of historic Paris, and a stones throw away from the Louvre Museum, the new Ô Chateau wine tasting venue is the ancient wine cellar once used by the sommelier of Louis XV!

The package includes a wine-tasting presentation from a trained sommelier (in English). You will then taste 1 champagne & 4 different wines from varying regions of France. A selection of French cheeses, charcuterie (cold meats), cherry tomatoes and French bread will be served. You will receive a list of the wines tasted and an Ô Chateau cheat sheet with tasting information and tips. The experience will last approximately 1.5 hours.
Sessions will be held at Anciennes Caves du sommelier de Louis XV 52 rue de l' Arbe Sec 75001 PARIS. Please note, travel to and from Paris is not included in this package.

Notes

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. this experience is for one person. This package is suitable for participants aged 16 years and over. There will be up to 24 other people partaking in the session. The presentation and commentary will be given in English only. This experience takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at noon. You must contact the venue to make your booking at least 24 hours prior to your chosen date; however we do advise that you book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Bookings cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the event may not be refunded or rebooked.

If you go to France you have to try the french bread and cheeses and of course the wine! This was a lovely spread and the wine tasting session was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the champagne - I could get used to this!
