This driving session is your opportunity to go it alone and experience the speed of the Formula Ford 2000 single seat racer. As you undertake practice laps in an Alfa Romeo 159 you will learn the racing lines - and the techniques that keep the professionals glued to the road. Finally, take the wheel of a Formula Ford 2000 racing car for the exciting laps that will make you feel like a pro.

After a short briefing on circuit safety you will be given initial instruction (2 - 3 laps) and practice laps (also 2 - 3 laps) in an Alfa Romeo 159 sports saloon. Then it 's to the Formula Ford 2000 Single Seater racing car for 4 laps at speeds of up to 100mph!!
You can expect your experience to last approximately 1 hour.

Notes

On purchasing this experience you will be sent an open dated gift voucher with 10 months validity. All driving events at this location must take place on weekdays between March and October. The maximum height for this experience is 6’3”. Maximum weight is 18st. Please wear cotton clothing which covers your arms. All guests must watch from the spectator area above the pits. All drivers must produce a full UK driving licence on the day of the event. (N.B. Vehicles are subject to change without notice if matters outside the operators control effect availability)

This was a birlliant day and would recommend it to anyone who dreams of driving a Formula One car. Leaning back in the Formula Ford 2000, holding tightly to the steering wheel as I sped around Goodwood circuit with the air rushing past my head.

Driving a single seater through the tunnel in to one of the most important motorsport locations in history the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Words can't express the feeling you get putting your foot to the floor in a true racing car on your own around a race circuit like Goodwood - absolutely awesome and unforgettable! What a day! You MUST have this experience. Eat your heart out, Lewis Hamilton!
