Get rigging and rolling with a friend on this super taster/improver sailing experience
With tuition given by a qualified RYA senior instructor, you can both climb aboard a 24-foot Pegasus Yacht and marvel at the beauty of your surroundings as you learn new skills or perhaps expand on your existing experience. With a focus on on-water experience, you’ll cover vital aspects; from helming to sheet handling and the roles of other crew on board. From the comfort of the Yacht, experience the pleasure and beauty of this quieter part of the Norfolk Broads, a haven for wildlife.

Arrive at the dock at 9:30 (for the morning session) or 1:30 (for the afternoon session), and get busy with a fun route to a basic understanding of sailing; including boat handling, rigging, rules of the road, equipment, knots and emergency precautions and procedures. You’ll need to bring warm clothing (whatever the season – to be prepared) and waterproofs, shoes with non-slip and non-marking soles and sun protection. Tea and coffee are provided at break times. Morning sessions finish at 12:30 and afternoon sessions end at 4:30.
Notes
Upon purchasing this experience, you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months for two people. Waterproofs and gloves are available on board for purchase at favourable prices if you are not able to bring your own. Details of any medical conditions must be disclosed upon booking as they may be relevant to safety on board. Having a medical condition will not automatically make you unable to attend the course. Sessions are “have a go” sessions where those attending will be joining in (at your own level). Courses are held on weekdays and weekends. Sailing season is normally May to October inclusive but may vary depending on weather conditions.

Me and my girlfriend decided to try our hand at sailing and found this to be a great way of picking up the basics. Our instructors were brilliant, very knowledgeable and professional. It was a lot of fun being out on the water, there's so much to sailing though I definitely think we need a fair few more lessons!
