I thought the Winchester Hotel was lovely, we had a nice room (always important) and enjoyed having a few drinks in the hotel's bar before heading out into Winchester for dinner. It's good that you can check in at 2pm and have the afternoon there, makes more of a day of it - you mustn't miss out on time in the stylish swimming pool and steam room!
