Take to the skies with an experienced instructor as you experience a unique and fun way to fly. You'll pass through the clouds and watch the ground below slide by in this lightweight aircraft. With the design of a hang-glider or small plane, a small engine and typically two seats, these machines look scary but they are in fact an extremely safe and well-recognised form of travel! This is sure to be a unique and thoroughly invigorating experience!

Upon arrival you will be briefed on the principles of microlight flying by your instructor. From there you will be taken to the microlight for a general familiarisation of the layout and run-through of the controls. After this it's up, up and away for the 20 minute flight of a lifetime! Once in the air you will have the chance to take controls of the aircraft and so get the thrill of actually piloting one of these amazing little machines.

Notes

On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months for one person. On receipt of this voucher you are free to call the flying school to book a lesson. The maximum weight for the experience is 14 stone. Minimum age for flying is 14 years old; however anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Flight time will be 20 mins, no previous experience is necessary. The experience is subject to availability and weather conditions on the day and so clients are advised to phone the morning of the lesson to check if it is safe to fly.
