Saddle up and discover the beauty of the New Forest on horseback. Suitable for beginners.
The New Forest National Park has been the hunting ground of Kings as far back as William the Conqueror and the best way to explore its plains is still on horseback. This unforgettable ride takes you across the grasslands and heaths where forest ponies run free, and into the woods, home to the fox, badger and many herds of wild deer. Then it’s back to the stables for refreshments and a delicious barbecue, allowing you time to reflect on a morning spent exploring these ancient woodlands.

I booked for me and my two children to go horse riding in the New Forest, we all had a fab day. I thought it was great they start you off with a lesson before the hack as this gave the kids a bit of confidence, and the barbecue lunch afterwards was delicious.

The New Forest is such a beautiful location to go horse riding in. The horses were so placid and we never went quicker than a trot so it was fabulous for my 10 year old daughter who had not had any riding lessons before today. We even managed to spot some of the wild ponies so were really lucky!
