Experience the unique thrill of a high speed tour of the Solent in a genuine offshore powerboat! Hold on tight as your highly experienced instructor takes the boat to the limit completing our offshore circuit. Feel the grace and pace of these racing thoroughbreds in an action-packed boat racing day!

Your experience will begin in Southampton with a safety briefing. You will then be provided with offshore racing jacket and life jacket and will be escorted to the waiting powerboat. After a short cruise down the river the driver will open up the throttle and you will the flying across the waves. This unique experience includes a demonstration of wave jumping, high speed cornering, racing lines and starts. Then you have two laps behind the wheel on our circuit to put it to the test. Friends and family are welcome to come and watch you leave the venue, following which they can relax and have a drink or something to eat. Dogs and children are welcome.
Notes
Your voucher is valid for ten months for one person. You are free to contact the operator to arrange a mutually convenient date for your experience, using the details provided. This experience is on selected weekend dates from May to October. Allow one and a half hours total for your experience. There will be between one and four others taking part in the session. Maximum weight is 17 stone. All participants are required to sign a disclaimer. Minimum age 12 but under 18's must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. You will be provided with a water proof jacket but we suggest you wear a t-shirt, jeans and soft shoes or trainers. Please bring sun glasses, suntan lotion and a sweat shirt. There are toilets, changing areas and catering facilities on site.

I bought the Offshore Powerboat Taster in Southampton for my husbands birthday and went along with him as well. We both had a fantastic time, especially my husband who likes a bit of an adrenalin rush. You couldn’t help but have a constant grin on your face when the boat was going fast. The guy who took us out was great as well, talkative, and answered any questions we had.
